This release fits the Church Walleye boards and other similar boards that have an attachment screw span of approx. 5/8". 

The release works off a calibrated magnetic force that allows the release to hold when you want it to hold and release when you want it to release. 

The release will work with tattle flags with one small modification to the board. See our YouTube channel for directions. 

Your boards will require a pinned rear clip to work. 

This release is designed to be used with standard braid or mono. It will not support lead core or copper lines. You should use the HEAVY releases for those setups

The MagRelease along with the clip attached to the back of the board works perfectly. A quick snap of the rod tip releases the front of the board and the clip holds it in place on the line. I use braid and the clip holds just fine.

Finally got out on Saginaw bay today and used my new MagRelease while walleye fishing. The releaes performed better than I was expecting. Never had any faulty releases while setting the boards out. When it came time release the boards with a fish on, I never had to "talk" at the boards because they wouldn't release. Every time the boards released on the first jerk. Not once did I get "upset" because the board wouldn't release. Wish I had these releases years ago. I'd recommend the MagRelease to anyone fishing with boards
